ability to make text larger overall on-site through settings

I have bad vision, and a constant problem for me on every platform is teeny tiny text. It leads to eyestrain and migraines, as well as pulling my laptop ever-closer to my face just to see what I'm reading.

It would be nice to be able to control the size of text without having to use browser extensions like stylebot to try to mess around and do it for me. That's what I use currently because it's the easiest way to make the site readable for me.

I have to make it clear, if there weren't outside extensions to help me read websites, they would be unusable to me. I consider this an accessibility feature.

Out of curiosity, is there a specific reason to use a styling extension instead of the zoom and font size features built in to web browsers / mobile OSes? Both seem to successfully increase the text size on Cohost for me.
