I mentioned this elsewhere but the tag search doesn't work equally well for e.g. Chinese, where words are regularly fewer than three characters long.
The solution would be to just start giving tag results at one character. Alternatively, detect if any characters are non-Latin. If they are, give tag results sooner than three characters.
This would also help searching for posts tagged with emoji or other fun unicode characters. #
