Restore buggy interaction between <details> and the 'read more' link

According to cohost update 89, the 'read more' functionality was refactored. This fixed a long-standing bug where expanding a post would cause any open <detail> tags within the post to collapse. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of interactable css crimes that depend on this bug to create a kind of reset feature. This one for instance.
I understand the soothing feeling one gets when throwing out a bunch of old code and replacing it with something much nicer that just works better, but I would still humbly request that you consider reintroducing this bug into your improved 'read more' implementation.
