I browse cohost almost exclusively on my phone. Sometimes I'm in a place with not great signal, like on a train. I can scroll past posts and never realise they had attached images because there's no way to tell that an image is meant to be there until it has loaded. To fix this, I would appreciate something to indicate that yes, there is an image there, but no, it hasn't loaded yet.
