When you enter a numbered list it ignores the actual number you put on each entry and just labels them 1.,2.,3.,... in order no matter what.
I'm aware that this is just how Markdown works. And that it's easy to work around it with a backslash for the '.'
But for cohost purposes it may be better to just render the number that is written. At the very least, the current behaviour should be mentioned on the cohost markdown reference.
