Blocking should remove likes from the user who liked the post

Not sure if anyone has suggested this, but I think blocking someone should also remove any likes they made and vice-versa it's something DeviantART does when you block someone, so maybe something similar can be implemented here too?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this happen already? I tried blocking a side blog and yeah, the post vanished from my blocked side blog's likes page. However the 'user liked your post' still shows in the OP posters notifications. If only because I did not Silence the blog in addition to blocking.

I don't think so, all blocking does is remove their notifications not the likes they made.

I tested it again using two different main blogs. The notification remained on the OP post blog's notification page. One would need to Silence in addition to Blocking to fully hide the blocked blog. The liked post was removed from the 'liked posts' page of the blog that made the like.

So I don't know what you're seeing. Maybe a staff member can comment, because this is working as intended for me. Perhaps you could open a bug report if it's a bug for you?
