Came here to post this, I love the feature but this is very annoying! MacOS Chrome here.
...immediately after posting the above comment, I found a related issue: clicking a different user on the left while viewing page 3 of the current user... loads page 3 of the new user >_>

clicking the next page button usually scrolls the post view back to the top, but it doesnt on the following view
this also happens if the next page is already loaded
