"Following" view ordering that respects the show/hide shares, etc. settings

This is an extension to the "persistent show/hide toggles" feature request, and probably makes the most sense with that in mind.
If I have my following list sorted by last post, and I have "hide shares" enabled, then I would like the shares to be ignored while sorting that list (and perhaps even hidden from that one-line summary thing of the page's recent activity).
Basically: I don't want to see users bubble to the top of my following list whenever they reshare something (but I do want to know if they reply or answer an ask). This behavior would apply to any of the show/hide toggles available.
