If you're using a Chromium-based browser on a Windows-based machine, flag emojis just don't work. The way some other websites, like Twitter, handle this is by specifying an emoji font in the CSS. Cohost currently supports Atkinson Hyperlegible and Papyrus, so it would be great to have an open-source emoji font that is universal to all users.
