Answering an ask from a silenced user prevents notifications about that post

Weird edge case, but probably an aftereffect from https://help.antisoftware.club/support/discussions/topics/62000184914 . Basically, I answer an ask from a silenced user (i think it's fine that the ask appears, since asks have their own infrastructure there), it generates a post which is authored by me, but that post doesn't appear in notifications or on my profile. Personally I feel like there should be an overwrite here so that the post functions as normal, and if I want to silence the post I can just do it on that post itself. I can see some people preferring the opposite though.
