I know, I know, Cohost just rolled out audio posts for normal audio formats that normal people use for normal reasons, I'm sorry, but also hear me out:
#1) Tracker module music formats like MOD, S3M, XM, IT, etc, can be tiny compared to MP3s. Everyone loves tiny files, especially servers used for online media storage.
#2) There are playback libraries for tracker modules that play nice with the big four modern browsers. Examples:
Realistically, I know this request is niche and unlikely to be considered, but I've seen what's possible on Cohost, I must shoot my shot.

this is The Cool Dream Audio Feature for Websites, tracker music files are fun and practical and good for facilitating the creation of the children that music has the right to
