I have no idea if this is intended functionality or not but it is definitely annoying to have things that happened in the past show up on top. Like, that's why I left modern social media platforms in the first place...
Yeah, this is really confusing, would really prefer it to not be like this.

the way that cohost collapses together similar notifications consistently results (for me) in displaying old notifications as if they were recent
e.g.
some of these follows happened literal months ago. this is especially confusing because many of the non-follow notifications that appear below this happened in-between these follows3 people have this problem
