It'd be nice to be able to one-click rechost on mobile like shift-click does on the desktop. Maybe another button or a long press or something?

This exists! Under settings, there's an option called "enable quick sharing on mobile" - when ticked, you can quick share by swiping up on the reblog button. That being said, it keeps going off by accident for a lot of people and isn't entirely intuitive, so they're looking into ways to rework it.

I had an iphone 11 pro and used safari. That feature only worked for me on the top post, sometimes. It works for me now that I am on Android.
