update @ tags in posts when a page handle is changed / page permalink

the ability to change a page handle is fantastic, it would be nice if past posts that include a @ tag to the old page name are updated to the new name
alternatively (in addition to?) a solution could be changing a @ tag from blindly adding it to the end of a url to instead providing a permalink based on some sort of user id, so even if the text does not change the link will still go to the correct page?
