I wish I had options for these specific things:

• Toggling if follow request count contributes to the notification display in the account switcher
• Toggling if follow requests have a number (separately from notifications, because notifications are ultimately an unimportant and ethereal number while follow requests are a list of items you have to attend to)
• Toggling if follow requests show a notification light/count at all (sometimes you don't want to think about attending to that list. maybe have this for notifications too?)
• "Snoozing" a follow request so that it's acknowledged and doesn't show up in any counts, but is still acceptable and/or declinable
