Silencing an account does not prevent repeat comments showing up in notifications

Silencing an account removes their comments from posts and will remove the initial comment from your notifications, but you still get notifications with the comment fully written out if they comment again on anything. You currently have to visit their profile and toggle silencing off and back on to remove the new comment.
If I've decided I don't want to see a user account once, I don't like having to manually do this workaround and interact even more. I want it silenced for real. Thanks!!!

That might be a bug? Maybe open a bug report or support ticket, if you haven't already.
