Prevent ##double hash tags starting in two pound symbols

I had two friends already who didn't realize that the hash/pound/sharp/tic-tac-toe symbol is implicit in tags, resulting them in trying to post in popular tags, but ending up in disused ones.

It's particularly bad when people do it as their introduction! My friend did it in the ##Welcome to Cohost tag until I told them to edit it.

A few seasoned users still getting caught on this page:

It's likely that auto-correcting double input is what the user wants >99% of the time. It seems bad enough a UX gotcha I'm posting it as an issue rather than feature request.
