Allow for backdating posts / set custom post date / reorder posts on a blog

Request to bring over the feature from tumblr that allows for selecting a custom date in the past for a post. It allows to reorder posts on the blog or one could use it to construct an archive or migrate an existing blog or stuff
I had it in my notes on list of features I'd like to request but I just run into issue with republishing a draft and it loosing it's place, that would never come up if I was able to just create a new post and date it however I wanted :•)

If there would be a trust issue there always could be some indicator that a post was backdated or even a real timestamp hidden somewhere. Or some other way to reorder posts on a blog would be welcome
