Given that a symptom of high load appears to be that users get logged out en masse, it's a little annoying to have to click through from the landing page to a separate login page. This is obviously not a huge issue, but the annoyance of getting frequently logged out is compounded by having to wait for a second page to load (especially when the site is already being sluggish). It would be great if you could reduce the login process to one click for users whose browsers remember their login info.
