Blocking hides rechost while logged in but NOT while logged out?

I reblog a post from a user with my own comments. That user subsequently blocks me, and my post disappears -- as expected. However, if I view my own profile (note: not trying to get into block evasion, I am talking about opening _my_ profile URL) while logged out, the both the share and the blockers original post are still there? It doesn't seem to be ISP caching since I can also see it over cellular.
This seems bad from both the blocker's perspective and mine.
- From the blocker's perspective, I'm still interacting with their post.
- From my perspective, there's a post on my profile that I am now unable to delete or edit if I want to
(FWIW I think it would be better if, upon block, previous shares were returned to drafts instead of just being hidden. But obviously this is a more serious issue.)
