Ability to select image interpolation mode

For pixel art, it would be great to be able to choose to have images in a post rendered with the "pixelated" CSS image-rendering attribute. This would prevent pixel art uploads from being rendered blurry. Right now, the only way to do it is to put the image in the body of the post and manually style it, or to waste space by nearest neighbour scaling the image up before uploading.


For context, I run the @compactdiscinteractive account and a lot of the stuff there would look better with sharp scaling.

Pixelated would be perfect, especially if PNG-format images can be retained.

yes please ! even when you manually upscale stuff it would look better when it gets sized down to the viewport if this was tickable

Yeah, cohost doesn't recompress images for you at all, so you can upload PNGs and have them stay that way.
